Running Behind

Ok, I have to admit, we have been busy and I miss my blogging, but, I have time today for some catching up.

I am so far behind that I am starting with Mother's Day and working my way up to the present. If time allows me. I do have a friend begging for info on Eric's ceremony. I will get to that one today.

Mother's Day this year was wonderful. We told each other when we started this business that we won't buy anything for birthday, anniversary, Mother's day or Father's day. That is fine with me. I am happy with what I have and I don't need anything anyways.

I got up to breakfast of donuts, specially chosen by PJ. Coffee and donuts, no clean up! I have to be honest, I took advantage of the day. It was my first Sunday off in 10 months and I didn't do anything. I put my feet up, made a few scrapblogs, rested some more, crocheted some, and that is about it. Watched some tv and didn't really move much out of my chair. It was my first relaxing day, it was gonna be my last relaxing day for a long time, so I wasn't gonna do anything.

Chuck went shopping for dinner and when he started dinner, he told me that I was to do nothing and they would handle dinner. Woo Hoo! I didn't have to cook or clean up or set the table. I was excited! I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't care.

Chuck and Eric got in the kitchen and made Chicken Enchiladas with a Creamy Green Sauce. Now, I have made this before, but when Chuck gets in the kitchen, he likes to experiment some. And that he did. Let me just say, dinner was EXCELLENT! And I really enjoyed it.

The rest of the day was just like earlier in the day. I really took advantage of time that I had to rest. I knew that coming up, we would be busy, and relaxing was going to be a thing of the past.

All in all, Mother's day was a wonderful day, my family spoiled me! And that doesn't happen all that much!
